The thermal diffusivity of MgO‐C refractories is highly sensitive to sample preparation and processing procedures. In this article, the effects of coking sequence, machining conditions, structural inhomogeneity, and graphite coating application on measurements using laser flash apparatus are systematically investigated.

Low‐cycle fatigue damage in Mn–Mo–Ni reactor pressure vessel steel is examined using a combined electron backscatter diffraction and positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy approach. The study correlates texture evolution, dislocation substructure development, and vacancy‐type defect formation across uniform, necked, and fracture regions, providing

Algorithms for Matrix Multiplication via Sampling and Opportunistic Matrix Multiplication
Karppa & Kaski (2019) proposed a novel ``broken" or ``opportunistic" matrix multiplication algorithm, based on a variant of Strassen's algorithm, and used this to develop new algorithms for Boolean matrix multiplication, among other tasks. Their algorithm can compute Boolean matrix multiplication in $O(n^{2.778})$ time.

Matrix Multiplication Reductions
In this paper we study a worst case to average case reduction for the problem of matrix multiplication over finite fields. Suppose we have an efficient average case algorithm, that given two random matrices $A,B$ outputs a matrix that has a non-trivial correlation with their product $A \cdot B$.

Carbon nanomaterial‐reinforced epoxy composites exhibit pronounced piezoresistive behavior, enabling intrinsic damage sensing under cyclic and fatigue loading. This review critically compares carbon nanotube and graphene systems, correlating filler content, percolation threshold, and gauge factor with sensing stability and damage evolution.

Matrix computation over homomorphic plaintext-ciphertext and its application
Those homomorphic encryption schemes supporting single instruction multiple data (SIMD) operations effectively enhance the amortized efficiency of ciphertext computations, yet the structure of ciphertexts leads to high complexity in matrix operations. In ...

Thermomechanical fatigue tests of laser beam powder bed fusion (PBF‐LB) Inconel 718 show that the additively manufactured material reaches almost the lifetimes of conventionally‐rolled material under no‐dwell conditions. Introducing dwell times at the maximum temperature markedly reduces the lifetimes due to pronounced grain boundary sliding associated
