Repair of neuronal DNA damage in Alzheimer's disease by KCL‐286. (A) Amyloid‐β oligomers and plaques impair neuronal DNA repair pathways, leading to DNA double‐strand breaks and glial activation. (B) KCL‐286 activates RARβ/RXR signalling via retinoic acid response elements (RAREs), associated with increased BRCA1 expression, enhanced DNA repair and ...

Holographic tensor network for double-scaled SYK
We construct a holographic tensor network for the double-scaled SYK model (DSSYK). The moment of the transfer matrix of DSSYK can be mapped to the matrix product state (MPS) of a spin chain.

A Matrix Product State Model for SimultaneousClassification and Generation
Abstract Quantum machine learning (QML) is a rapidly expanding field that merges the principles of quantum computing with the techniques of machine learning. One of the powerful mathematical frameworks in this domain is tensor networks. These networks are used to approximate high-order tensors by contracting tensors with lower ranks. Originally

Ionomycin suppresses cancer cell growth by disrupting mitochondrial transcription
In this study, we identify a new function for the selective Ca2+ ionophore, ionomycin, as an inhibitor of mitochondrial transcription. Both total and nascent RNA analyses revealed that ionomycin treatment reduces the transcription of mitochondrial genes.
