Max-min and max-product compositions are commonly utilized to optimize a linear objective function subject to fuzzy relational equations. Both are members in the class of max-t-norm composition. In this study, a linear convex combination of max-min and max-average compositions is considered for the same optimization model, which does not belong to the ...

An Efficient Trust-Based Routing Scheme by Max-Min Composition of Fuzzy Logic for MANET
2016Mobile ad hoc network is an infrastructure-less network of distributed nodes. It is spontaneous, self-organized, and also dynamic. In ad hoc environment, due to frequent communication among nodes and lack of enough information about nodes, it is complicated to measure trust.

A solution for Eigen fuzzy sets of adjoint max-min composition and its application to image analysis
IEEE International Symposium on Intelligent Signal Processing, 2003, 2004As a principal component analysis of the images based on an ordered structure, the greatest eigen fuzzy set (GEFS) and the smallest eigen fuzzy set (SEFS) of max-min composition and adjoint one, are proposed. In the case of the proposed method, an original image is regarded as a fuzzy relation by intensity normalization, and the GEFS and the SEFS are ...

Motivated by application in BitTorrent-like Peer-to-Peer resource sharing system, we introduce the maximization and minimization semi-latticized fuzzy relation geometric programming problems with max-min composition in this paper. The objective function in the proposed problem in nonlinear and the feasible domain is non-convex.

Fuzzy relational equations have played an important role in fuzzy modeling and applied to many practical problems. Most theories of fuzzy relational equations based on a premise that the solution set is not empty. However, this is often not the case in practical applications. Recently, Chakraborty et al.

In this paper, we explore the fermatean m-polar fuzzy max-min-max composite relation, improved fermatean m-polar fuzzy composite relation and propose refined fermatean m-polar fuzzy composite relation approach for better results. The validity of the refined fermatean m-polar fuzzy composite relation is tested through numerical experiments, comparing it

A Comparative Study of Max-Min, Max-Product and Max-Average Compositions in Reflexive Fuzzy Relation
International Journal of Mathematics Trends and TechnologyThis paper presents a comparative study of three important composition operators in fuzzy relations, such as max-min, max-product, and max-average compositions. The study demonstrates that these operators hold for a reflexive fuzzy relation. Furthermore, an illustrative example is provided for each type of composition, using matrices of order3×3.
