A New Species of Vietnamella Tshernova 1972 (Ephemeroptera: Vietnamellidae) from Thailand

The larva, male subimago, female imago, and eggs of V. nanensis sp. n. are described based on specimens from Mae Hong Son and Nan provinces, Thailand. The female subimago is described based on a photograph of a specimen reared to the imago stage.

Five New Species of New Zealand Hemiandrus Ander 1938 Ground wētā (Orthoptera: Anostostomatidae)

Five new species of ground wētā endemic to Aotearoa New Zealand are described based on morphological traits and informed by phylogenetic analysis of mitochondrial DNA sequences. Hemiandrus briarae sp. nov. is a robust species living on mountains in northeast South Island, and H. dryadis sp. nov. is a gracile denizen of forests in northwest South Island.

Divergent defense strategies and niche partitioning in Cretaceous micro‐beetles

We report a new clambid beetle from mid‐Cretaceous Kachin amber, Scutacalyptus kolibaci gen. et sp. nov., characterized by a flattened body and explanate margins. Alongside spiny and conglobating clambid forms, this diversity reflects niche partitioning and varied antipredator strategies in the Cretaceous forest floor.
