MAXIMAL AND SINGULAR INTEGRAL OPERATORS AND THEIR COMMUTATORS ON GENERALIZED WEIGHTED MORREY SPACES WITH VARIABLE EXPONENT [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
WOS: 000413811900004We consider the generalized weighted Morrey spaces M-omega(p(.),phi) (Omega) with variable exponent p(x) and a general function phi(x, r) defining the Morrey-type norm.

Coronary plaque composition influences biomechanical stress and predicts plaque rupture in a morpho-mechanic OCT analysis

open access: yeseLife, 2021
Plaque rupture occurs if stress within coronary lesions exceeds the protection exerted by the fibrous cap overlying the necrotic lipid core. However, very little is known about the biomechanical stress exerting this disrupting force.

Strong Convergence of Monotone Hybrid Method for Maximal Monotone Operators and Hemirelatively Nonexpansive Mappings

open access: yesFixed Point Theory and Applications, 2009
We prove strong convergence theorems for finding a common element of the zero point set of a maximal monotone operator and the fixed point set of a hemirelatively nonexpansive mapping in a Banach space by using monotone hybrid iteration method.

Multiobjective Optimization, Scalarization, and Maximal Elements of Preorders [PDF]

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2018
We characterize the existence of (weak) Pareto optimal solutions to the classical multiobjective optimization problem by referring to the naturally associated preorders and their finite (Richter-Peleg) multiutility representation. The case of a compact design space is appropriately considered by using results concerning the existence of maximal ...

Maximal elements for non-ordered preferences

open access: yes, 1992
Using Reich’s [1] definition of the measure of noncompactness for locally convex spaces, we extend a recent result of Mehta [2], on the existence of maximal elements for nonordered preferences defined on a noncompact set, from Banach spaces to a larger ...

Elements of Maximal Order in Finite p-Groups [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1972
Let G be a finite p-group such that every 3-generator subgroup has class at most p. If K(G) denotes the subgroup of G generated by the elements of maximal order in G, then K(G) has index at most p in G. G. Zappa proved [5] that if G is a finite p-group of class at most p, then H,(G) has index at most p in G, unless H,(G)= 1.

Clinical and Biological Features of Response in Resistant Neuroblastoma to 131I‐Metaiodobenzylguanidine Radiotherapy in the Anti‐GD2 Immunotherapy Era

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background 131I‐metaiodobenzylguanidine (131I‐MIBG) radiotherapy is a key treatment for relapsed and refractory (R/R) neuroblastoma (NB). Patients with R/R disease treated in the modern era are increasingly exposed to anti‐GD2 immunotherapy, which exerts selective pressure and may modify both tumor cell state and microenvironment.

A topological characterization of an almost Boolean algebra

open access: yesExtracta Mathematicae
For any Boolean space X and a discrete almost distributive lattice D, it is proved that the set C(X, D) of all continuous mappings of X into D, when D is equipped with the discrete topology, is an almost Boolean algebra under pointwise operations ...
