This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

Multilinear Cesàro maximal operators
The authors characterize weighted weak type and strong type inequalities for the maximal operator associated to the Cesàro-\(\alpha\) averages. Let \(\varphi_R(x)=\frac{1}{R^n}\varphi(\frac{x}{R})\), \(R>0\), be the dilated functions of a nonnegative integrable function \(\varphi\) defined on \(\mathbb{R}^n\) such that \(\int \varphi =1\).

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Fixed points in the family of convex representations of a maximal monotone operator
Any maximal monotone operator can be characterized by a convex function. The family of such convex functions is invariant under a transformation connected with the Fenchel-Legendre conjugation.

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Monte Carlo Simulation of Operator Dynamics and Entanglement in Dual-Unitary Circuits [PDF]
We investigate operator dynamics and entanglement growth in dual-unitary circuits, a class of locally scrambled quantum systems that enables efficient simulation beyond the exponential complexity of the Hilbert space. By mapping the operator evolution to

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

A quantitative approach to weighted Carleson condition
Quantitative versions of weighted estimates obtained by F. Ruiz and J.L. Torrea [30, 31] for the operator are obtained. As a consequence, some sufficient conditions for the boundedness of Min the two weight setting in the spirit of the results obtained ...
