Maximum entropy principle in relativistic radiation hydrodynamics

1997
Summary: The principle of maximum entropy is employed in order to close the set of the moment equations in relativistic radiation hydrodynamics to a finite order. A procedure to obtain explicit expressions for the source terms is given. In particular, the bremsstrahlung and Thomson scattering are considered.
