The Maximum Explosion Pressure of Lignite in Dependence on Particle Size [PDF]

open access: yesResearch Papers Faculty of Materials Science and Technology Slovak University of Technology, 2019
Abstract Floating coal dusts are always produced during coal mining process in the underground mines. In a coal mine and other coal processing or utilizing industries, there are always some potential safety problems, such as coal dust explosion accidents.[1,2] During lignite mining and processing, flammable coal ...

Study on the effect mechanism of CO on gas explosion reaction

open access: yesGong-kuang zidonghua, 2022
At present, most of the research on gas explosion takes the mixed gas of CH4 and air as the research object, but the gas explosion in coal mine is not a separate CH4 explosion, there are often CO and other components, which have a certain effect on gas ...

On the Sensitivity of the Maximum Explosion Pressure of a Dust Deflagration to Turbulence

open access: yesKONA Powder and Particle Journal, 2001
The maximum explosion pressure of a deflagration is often regarded as a thermodynamic quantity and it is believed to be insensitive to the flow conditions of the combustible mixture involved. While this is true for premixed gases, the present work demonstrates that the opposite is the case when powder-air mixtures are ignited to deflagration.
