Evaluation and allocation of distribution network hosting capacity for connecting renewable generation and new loads [PDF]
Further growth of distributed generation (DG) and emergency of new loads due to electrification of road transportation and heating sectors necessitates a comprehensive understanding and evaluation of hosting capacity (HC) of distribution networks (DNs ...

Oxygen‐tunnel (OT) indium tin oxide (ITO) vertical channel transistors (VCTs) enable reliable, high‐density gain‐cell memory for monolithic 3D integration. A sandwiched SiN/SiO2/SiN OT stack selectively regulates oxygen transport, suppressing parasitic electrode oxidation while stabilizing channel oxygen vacancies, thereby suppressing carrier injection

Maximizing PV Hosting Capacity in Unbalanced Distribution Systems with High EVs Penetration
This paper presents a stochastic scenario-based mixed-integer nonlinear programming (MINLP) model to maximize the photovoltaic-based (PV-based) hosting capacity in unbalanced distribution systems with high penetration of electric vehicles (EVs).

Formation of Quasi‐Decoupling Interface on Li‐Metal Anodes in High Donor Electrolyte
Li‐metal anode (LMA) is stabilized by introducing Li2Te2 as an electrolyte additive for Li‐metal batteries. Upon contact with Li, Li2Te2 spontaneously converts to Li2Te, which electronically isolates Li from dimethyl sulfoxide due to its large bandgap and minimal Bader charge transfer.

Optimizing Wind Power Hosting Capacity of Distribution Systems Using Cost Benefit Analysis
The penetration of wind power into the electricity grid is growing significantly. A significant portion of this wind power is being installed in distribution systems, of which most are passively operated.

This paper presents a digital microfluidics‐based technique for transferring and reconfiguring soft nanomembranes. Laser‐machined nanothin membranes are picked up, transported, and aligned via tailored surface tension and the actuation of water droplets, enabling the development of flexible electronics, the integration of functional materials on 3D ...

When hydrated zinc ions are deposited onto Cu substrates at practical current densities, the modified Cu enables simultaneously compact zinc growth and suppressed hydrogen evolution. This regulatory effect originates from the superior adsorption of the modified Cu interface, which enhances zincophilicity and the hydrogen desorption barrier, thereby ...
