Advancing Fruit Bioimpedance Monitoring With Sustainable, Soft, And Bio‐Based Electrodes Beyond ECG

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, Volume 12, Issue 18, 21 September 2026.
Electrical impedance spectroscopy enables non‐destructive fruit quality monitoring, but conventional ECG and needle electrodes compromise signal stability, fruit physiology, and sustainability. This perspective highlights the transition toward soft, biocompatible, and biodegradable electrode interfaces based on natural substrates, bio‐derived ...

Divergent associations of estimated cardiorespiratory fitness with cognitive trajectories in Chinese and U.S. middle‐aged and older adults: A descriptive cross‐national comparison from CHARLS and HRS

open access: yesAlzheimer's &Dementia, Volume 22, Issue 9, September 2026.
Abstract INTRODUCTION The association between cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) and cognition may differ across populations, but cross‐cultural evidence remains limited. We explored whether estimated CRF (eCRF) shows divergent associations with cognitive trajectories in Chinese and U.S. middle‐aged and older adults.

Veratric Acid and the Cytotoxic Activity of Handroanthus impetiginosus Inner Bark Extract: No Association

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, Volume 23, Issue 9, September 2026.
Physicochemical characterization, phytochemical profiling, and in vitro cytotoxicity assessment of Handroanthus impetiginosus inner bark extract show that veratric acid, despite being readily identified by HPLC‐DAD, does not account for the observed cytotoxicity.

Cardiovascular Immune‐Related Adverse Events of Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors: A Systematic Review and Meta‐Summary of Case Reports

open access: yesCancer Reports, Volume 9, Issue 9, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Reports of immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) therapy‐associated immune‐related adverse events (irAEs) exhibit considerable heterogeneity, particularly when comparing data from clinical trials and real‐world observational studies. Methods We conducted a systematic review of real‐world observational studies (case reports and series ...

From Corporate Social Responsibility to Organizational Resilience: The Role of Sustainability Control Systems and Governance Heterogeneity

open access: yesCorporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, Volume 33, Issue 5, Page 6435-6449, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Corporate social responsibility (CSR) has increasingly been recognized as a strategic lever for enhancing organizational resilience. Although CSR literature is abundant, prior research has not fully explained how distinct CSR types, such as altruistic, promotional, and value‐creating, influence organizational resilience through sustainability ...
