A Novel Chaotic Flower Pollination Algorithm for Global Maximum Power Point Tracking for Photovoltaic System Under Partial Shading Conditions

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
A partial shading condition is an environmental phenomenon that causes multiple peaks in Photovoltaic (PV) characteristics. Introducing robust and reliable Maximum Power Point Tracking technique is essential in PV systems to extract the Global Maximum ...

Review of Online and Soft Computing Maximum Power Point Tracking Techniques under Non-Uniform Solar Irradiation Conditions

open access: yesEnergies, 2020
Significant growth in solar photovoltaic (PV) installation has been observed during the last decade in standalone and grid-connected power generation systems. However, the PV system has a non-linear output characteristic because of weather intermittency,

Integrated genomic and proteomic profiling reveals insights into chemoradiation resistance in cervical cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A comprehensive genomic and proteomic analysis of cervical cancer revealed STK11 and STX3 as a potential biomarkers of chemoradiation resistance. Our study demonstrated EGFR as a therapeutic target, paving the way for precision strategies to overcome treatment failure and the DNA repair pathway as a critical mechanism of resistance.

Maximum power point tracking for a photovoltaic power system [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
193 p. This dissertation proposes a novel maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithm that works optimally for a photovoltaic system under fast changing temperature and irradiation conditions. The new approach can effectively improve the tracking speed and accuracy simultaneously, which is the contradiction in conventional methods such as P&O or INC.

A Hybrid Photovoltaic-Fuel Cell for Grid Integration With Jaya-Based Maximum Power Point Tracking: Experimental Performance Evaluation

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
This paper deals the grid integration of photovoltaic (PV), fuel cell, and ultra-capacitor with maximum power point tracking (MPPT). The voltage oriented control for the grid-integrated inverter is proposed to regulate dc link voltage.

In vitro properties of patient serum predict clinical outcome after high dose rate brachytherapy of hepatocellular carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Following high dose rate brachytherapy (HDR‐BT) for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), patients were classified as responders and nonresponders. Post‐therapy serum induced increased BrdU incorporation and Cyclin E expression of Huh7 and HepG2 cells in nonresponders, but decreased levels in responders.

Experimental validation of novel hybrid Grey Wolf Equilibrium Optimization for MPPT to improve the efficiency of solar photovoltaic system

open access: yesResults in Engineering
This paper introduces a novel strategy for tracking the Maximum Power Point (MPP) using Grey Wolf Equilibrium Optimizer (GWEO) algorithm, which integrates a search mechanism of Grey Wolf Optimizer (GWO) and Equilibrium Optimizer (EO).

Mitigation of Interharmonics in PV Systems With Maximum Power Point Tracking Modification

open access: yesIEEE transactions on power electronics, 2019
Interharmonics are emerging power quality challenges in grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) systems. Previous studies and field measurements have confirmed the evidence of interharmonic emission from PV inverters, where the maximum power point tracking ...

Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).
