Simple maximum power point tracker for photovoltaicarrays

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2000
A new technique is presented for tracking the maximum power point (MPP) of solar arrays. Although the control circuit is extremely simple and robust, its dynamics are complex. The MPP becomes inherently the global attractor of the system, thus ensuring optimum operation under transient and steady-state conditions. Experimental results confirm excellent

Comprehensive Studies on Operational Principles for Maximum Power Point Tracking in Photovoltaic Systems

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
Maximum power point tracking (MPPT) is essential in Photovoltaic (PV) systems, which has drawn significant research effort in the past. The operation is to adjust the power interfaces so that the operating characteristics of the consumption and the PV ...

Tumor and germline testing with next generation sequencing in epithelial ovarian cancer: a prospective paired comparison using an 18‐gene panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Genetic testing in epithelial ovarian cancer includes both germline and tumor‐testing. This approach often duplicates resources. The current prospective study assessed the feasibility of tumor‐first multigene testing by comparing tumor tissue with germline testing of peripheral blood using an 18‐gene NGS panel in 106 patients.

Analyzing weak lensing of the cosmic microwave background using the likelihood function [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
Future experiments will produce high-resolution temperature maps of the cosmic microwave background (CMB) and are expected to reveal the signature of gravitational lensing by intervening large-scale structures.

Glycosylated LGALS3BP is highly secreted by bladder cancer cells and represents a novel urinary disease biomarker

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Urinary LGALS3BP is elevated in bladder cancer patients compared to healthy controls as detected by the 1959 antibody–based ELISA. The antibody shows enhanced reactivity to the high‐mannose glycosylated variant secreted by cancer cells treated with kifunensine (KIF).

An Adaptive, Model-Robust, PV Maximum Power Point Tracking Algorithm

open access: yesIEEE Access
Maximizing the output power of photovoltaic (PV) systems is crucial in all PV applications to improve energy efficiency and system performance. Maximum power point tracking (MPPT) is utilized in PV systems to track the voltage that maximizes their output

Novel TPPO Based Maximum Power Point Method for Photovoltaic System

open access: yesAdvances in Electrical and Computer Engineering, 2017
Photovoltaic (PV) system has a great potential and it is installed more when compared with other renewable energy sources nowadays. However, the PV system cannot perform optimally due to its solid reliance on climate conditions. Due to this dependency,

ANN-based Maximum Power Point Tracking Technique for PV Power Management under Variable Conditions [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematical, Engineering and Management Sciences
Due to the increasing energy demand, traditional fossil fuels are gradually decaying day by day as analyzed by many researchers. Fossil fuels are not sufficient to fulfil the requirement of energy demand and it also produces greenhouse gas emissions.

Improving PARP inhibitor efficacy in bladder cancer without genetic BRCAness by combination with PLX51107

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Clinical trials on PARP inhibitors in urothelial carcinoma (UC) showed limited efficacy and a lack of predictive biomarkers. We propose SLFN5, SLFN11, and OAS1 as UC‐specific response predictors. We suggest Talazoparib as the better PARP inhibitor for UC than Olaparib.
