Generative AI‐Driven Accelerated Discovery of Passivation Molecules for Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A generative artificial intelligence (AI) framework combining a discriminative machine learning model (SMILES‐X) and a generative language model (GPT‐2) autonomously discovers new molecular passivators for perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Through an iterative design loop, over 100 000 candidates are generated and screened, and randomly selected molecules

Sulfonated Bathocuproine Derivatives as Chemically Bonded Buried‐Interface Engineers for n–i–p Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A BCP‐derived buried‐interface strategy establishes Na‐BCS as a chemically bonded molecular bridge. By combining sulfonate anchoring to SnO2 with preserved BCP–Pb2+ coordination, Na‐BCS simultaneously passivates oxide‐ and perovskite‐side defects, suppresses non‐radiative recombination, and delivers a surface recombination velocity of 8.6 cm s−1, a ...

A High-Performance Hybrid MPPT Method for Rapid Tracking and Steady Power Operation Under Varying Weather Conditions and Load Changes in Photovoltaic Systems

open access: yesIEEE Access
Maximum power point tracking (MPPT) plays a crucial role in the performance of the photovoltaic (PV) output, which decreases dramatically under partial shading conditions (PSCs).

Amorphous π‐Conjugated Passivator Facilitates Widening Process Window for Reliable Perovskite Solar Modules

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
A wide process window is essential for the commercialization of perovskite photovoltaics. Here, we demonstrate an amorphous π‐conjugated passivator having an asymmetric mono‐iodine substituent on a carbazole moiety imparts a high dipole moment, desirable molecular energy levels, and high thickness tolerance, thereby enabling a wide process window in ...

Multiscale Perspectives on Perovskite Instability: From Atomistic Deformation to Device Degradation in Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Multiscale perspectives on how excess charges in soft lead halide perovskites induce operational instability in photovoltaic devices are presented. Localized carriers formed under thermodynamic non‐equilibrium states modify atomistic interactions and drive lattice distortions, accelerating device degradation.

Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) – A Review on Innovative Algorithms

open access: yesInternational Journal of Advanced Research in Electrical, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, 2015
Energy should be transformed from one form to another with maximum efficiency at a minimal cost. With rising concerns on the use of non-renewable resources, it is wise to develop new technologies to utilize other renewable non-conventional resources at hand.
