Performance predetermination of single-phase induction motors using Thevenin's, Norton's and Maximum power transfer theorems

Thevenin's, Norton's and Maximum power transfer theorems have been applied for the solution of the equivalent circuit of split-phase and capacitor start single-phase induction motors, slip being the variable parameter in the circuit. Step by step procedure for the predetermination of performance of the motor has been illustrated with an example.
