Didactic Uses of Maximum Power Transfer Theorem and Guided Problem Solving
International Journal of Electrical Engineering & Education, 2014The maximum power transfer theorem (MPTT) is proved in a number of ways. The paper asserts pedagogical value and is aimed at evoking critical thinking among students.

Two competing views of regulating glottal airflow for maximum vocal output are investigated theoretically. The maximum power transfer theorem is used as a guide. A wide epilarynx tube (laryngeal vestibule) matches well with low glottal resistance (believed to correspond to the “yawn-sigh” approach in voice therapy), whereas a narrow epilarynx tube ...

On Complete Versions of Thevenin–Norton and Maximum Power Transfer Theorems
Circuits, Systems, and Signal Processing, 2021In this paper, we state and prove complete versions of two basic theorems of linear circuit theory, viz. Thevenin–Norton and Maximum power transfer theorems. We show how to compute port behavior of multiports which have port equations of the general form $$Bv_P-Qi_{P}=s,$$

On the Maximum Power Transfer Theorem
International Journal of Electrical Engineering & Education, 1978A reformulation of the maximum power transfer theorem, in terms of terminal conditions of the network corresponding to maximum power delivery, is given. Applications of this reformulation for a variety of terminations are discussed for the purely resistive and the sinusoidal steady-state cases.

An ultrasound-based laboratory experience to illustrate the maximum power transfer theorem
2008 38th Annual Frontiers in Education Conference, 2008This paper aims to tackle both the challenge of illustrating the maximum power transfer theorem in a first-year course and the challenge of organizing courses with an extensive program that must be completed in a rather short time. This is the case for the three-year degree program leading to the Diploma in Electronic Systems for Telecommunications ...

Thevenin's, Norton's and Maximum power transfer theorems have been applied for the solution of the equivalent circuit of split-phase and capacitor start single-phase induction motors, slip being the variable parameter in the circuit. Step by step procedure for the predetermination of performance of the motor has been illustrated with an example.

A maximum power transfer theorem for DC linear two-ports
2002 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems. Proceedings (Cat. No.02CH37353), 2003The maximum power transfer theorem for DC linear two-ports terminated by uncoupled passive resistors is stated and proved. Unlike all previous works, non-reciprocal two-ports (i.e. two-ports whose resistance matrix is non-symmetrical) are allowed, and power is maximized with respect to the load resistances rather than the load currents.

Maximum power transfer theorem with arbitrary Efficiency for Wireless Power Transfer
Physica ScriptaAbstract Wireless power transfer (WPT) has been actively studied by many companies and research institutes for decades, and individual technologies have been highly developed. However, except for nearly contact WPT, it has not yet reached a standard adopted by multiple manufacturers.
