Non-spherical collapse of an air bubble subjected to a lithotripter pulse [PDF]
In order to better understand the contribution of bubble collapse to stone comminution in shockwave lithotripsy, the shockinduced and Rayleigh collapse of a spherical air bubble is investigated using numerical simulations, and the free-field collapse ...

RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.

Evolution of an elliptical bubble in an accelerating extensional flow [PDF]
Mathematical models that describe the dynamical behavior of a thin gas bubble embedded in a glass fiber during a fiber drawing process have been discussed and analyzed.

Studying the flow characteristics of bubbles in a narrow gap is an important problem related to bearing cavitation and gas–liquid two-phase flow. In this paper, we present a modified three-dimensional multi-relaxation-time pseudo-potential model for ...

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Modelling of bubble nucleation in trachy-phonolitic magmas: implications for the dynamics of ash-rich eruptions [PDF]
Nucleation of water gas bubbles in trachyphonolitic magmatic melts has been investigated integrating theory and numerical modelling with decompression experiments and analysis of natural ash samples of explosive eruptions.

Shock Waves in Liquid under the Pulsed Action of a Cavitation Bubble on a Rigid Wall [PDF]
Shock waves arising in water during the collapse of a cavitation bubble near a plane rigid wall are studied in the case with a liquid layer (interlayer) between the bubble and the wall. The shock waves determine to a large extent the pulsed action of the

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...
