Abstract Physical laws are strikingly simple, yet there is no a priori reason for them to be so. I propose that nomic realists—Humeans and non‐Humeans—should recognize simplicity as a fundamental epistemic guide for discovering and evaluating candidate physical laws.

These pose hazards for electronic equipment and affect biological systems. We present a new methodology for simulating the formation of electromagnetic fields within and near dust devils.

Thermoelectric Processes of Quantum Normal‐Superconductor Interfaces
Recent advances on using mesoscopic normal‐superconductor junctions for the thermoelectric effect is reviewed. A theoretical framework is presented for multiterminal configurations exploiting properties characterised by the interplay of the system reduced dimensionality and superconducting correlations.
