Modeling the initial mechanical response and yielding behavior of gelled crude oil
The initial mechanical response and yielding behavior of gelled crude oil under constant shear rate conditions were investigated. By putting the Maxwell mechanical analog and a special dashpot in parallel, a quasi-Jeffreys model was obtained. The kinetic

ON EQUIVALENCE OF KELVIN AND MAXWELL MULTIELEMENT MODELS
The problem of Kelvin and Maxwell model equivalence in one- and three-dimensional cases is investigated. The equations of one model transfer to the other one have been given.

Soft Skins With Reversible Thickness Morphing: Materials, Mechanisms, and Applications
Evolution of electronic skin (e‐skin) technologies toward adaptive, multifunctional soft skins. Phase I highlights early rigid and discrete sensory interfaces. Phase II shows the transition toward flexible, stretchable, and large‐area e‐skin. Phase III captures the emergence of computational e‐skin.

An analysis of the Darwin model of approximation to Maxwell’s equations
Summary: This paper is concerned with the approximation of the Maxwell equations by the Darwin model, with appears as a correction of the quasi- electrostatic model, including the electric fields generated by magnetic induction. This model is obtained by neglecting the solenoïdal part of the displacement current in the Maxwell equations, and exhibits ...

As presented in the graphical abstract, it depicts an image of a terahertz photonic crystal fiber (THz‐PCF) sensor with a polygonal shape in the core, which is filled with an analyte, and air slots in the cladding. The THz waves will travel through the fiber, and due to increased light‐matter interaction in the sensing region, changes in refractive ...

A Numerical Technique for Solving the Maxwell Model for Free Surface Flows
This work is concerned with the development of a numerical technique for solving free surface flows of a Maxwell fluid. The governing equations for the flow of a Maxwell type fluid together with appropriate boundary conditions are given. The free surface
