Spatial and Temporal Planetary Boundary Layer Moisture‐Source Variability of Crimean Peninsula Precipitation

open access: yesEarth and Space Science, Volume 8, Issue 8, August 2021., 2021
Abstract The atmospheric water cycle is a key component of the global energy and moisture exchange. In order to gain better understanding of the atmospheric processes and temporal variability and trends affecting precipitation in Crimea, we use a Lagrangian moisture source detection technique based on reanalysis data from the European Center for Medium‐

Medical-dosimetry registry of workers at the 'Mayak' production association

open access: yesInternational Journal of Low Radiation, 2006
Characteristics for workers hired to main plants of Mayak PA in 1948–1982 are presented. Extended registry includes 22,347 individuals. As of 31.12.2000, vital status has been ascertained for 92% of cohort members, of which 37% died. External gamma-exposure doses are known for 83% of cohort members; the average value of external exposure dose is 0.7 Gy.

Rhizosphere bacteria containing ACC deaminase decrease root ethylene emission and improve maize root growth with localized nutrient supply

open access: yesFood and Energy Security, Volume 10, Issue 2, Page 275-284, May 2021., 2021
It is useful to explore the strategy of soil–crop management by introducing rhizobacteria to regulate plant ethylene signal and then benefit sustainable agriculture. Localized nutrient supply can enhance maize root proliferation, but also increase root ethylene production. The rhizobacteria containing ACC deaminase (V.

Multiannual Assessment of Quality of Plantago major L. Seed Progeny from Kyshtym Radiation Accident Area: Weather-Dependent Effects

open access: yesPlants, 2023
The effects of low-dose radiation that are observed in plant populations in radioactively contaminated areas are variable. One of the reasons is the influence of fluctuating weather conditions and the interaction of radiation with weather factors.
