The two dimensional Mazo limit [PDF]
Faster than Nyquist (FTN) signaling is extended. We send FTN pulse trains that overlap in both time and frequency; this is called two dimensional Mazo signaling. The minimum time and frequency separation that achieves dmin 2 = 2 for root raised cosine pulses is found. Two dimensional signaling is more bandwidth efficient than one dimensional.

Wound Healing and Angiogenic Profiling of Dermal Endothelial Cells Isolated From People With Type 2 Diabetes. [PDF]
Primary human dermal microvascular endothelial cells (HDMVECs) isolated from individuals with type 2 diabetes (T2D) exhibit dysregulated intrinsic properties, including altered morphology, reduced nitric oxide (NO) availability, and loss of endothelial identity.

Hexagonal Multicarrier Faster-Than-Nyquist Signaling
Multicarrier faster-than-Nyquist (MFTN) signaling is a spectral efficient modulation scheme for future communication systems. In MFTN signaling, the intersymbol interference (ISI) and intercarrier interference (ICI) are introduced intentionally by the ...

Low-Complexity Detection of High-Order QAM Faster-Than-Nyquist Signaling
Faster-than-Nyquist (FTN) signaling is a promising non-orthogonal transmission technique to considerably improve the spectral efficiency. This paper presents the first attempt in the literature to estimate the transmit data symbols of any high-order ...

In this paper, we investigate the sequence estimation problem of binary and quadrature phase shift keying faster-than-Nyquist (FTN) signaling and propose two novel low-complexity sequence estimation techniques based on concepts of successive interference

Geopolymer reinforcement of road embankment slopes under low seismic loading conditions
Lithuania is classified as a region of low seismic hazard; however, even low-intensity dynamic actions may affect the stability of marginally stable geotechnical structures.
