3D printing of fluorine‐free omniphobic surfaces
Droplet, EarlyView.Our work demonstrates that the simple and inexpensive digital light processing three‐dimensional printing can be used to fabricate micropillar arrays with doubly reentrant and triply reentrant features. The printed fluorine‐free surfaces display omniphobicity and resist the wetting of liquids with a wide range of surface tensions.

Consumer diversity drives stronger predation in tropical marine communities
Ecography, EarlyView.Biotic interactions are predicted to be stronger in the tropics compared to higher latitudes, contributing to observed patterns of global biodiversity. While increased consumer diversity and more complex food webs are expected in tropical communities, the trophic dynamics underlying strong regional effects of predation are not well understood.

Geological Journal, EarlyView.This study reports the exceptional preservation of the Eocene freshwater bivalve Batissa sitakaraensis from Hokkaido, Japan. Multimodal analyses reveal that both the aragonitic shell mineralogy and the delicate organic periostracum retain their original structural and chemical characteristics after millions of years.
