A Technique for Disinfection of the MDO Oxygen Electrode
Acta Anaesthesiologica Scandinavica, 1980A method for disinfection and aseptic assembly of the MDO (Mehrdraht Dortmund Oberfläche) oxygen electrode has been evaluated. The method is based on treating each electrode component separately and then assembling the different parts under aseptic surgical conditions.

Aerostructural interaction in a collaborative MDO environment
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2014The work presents an approach for aircraft design and optimization, developed to account for fluid-structure interactions in MDO applications. The approach makes use of a collaborative distributed design environment, and focuses on the influence of multiple physics based aerostructural models, on the overall aircraft synthesis and optimization.

Aircraft loads methodology for MDO
19th AIAA Applied Aerodynamics Conference, 2001A methodology is presented for developing a complete set of aircraft loads to be used in the structural optimization of an aircraft wing during preliminary design. Using the software program ASTROS as the platform, a typical mid-size 100+ seat passenger aircraft was selected as the subject of the study.
