Results 151 to 160 of about 868,975 (356)
The authors conducted a retrospective study of 94 patients with advanced cancer who underwent next‐generation sequencing (NGS) gene panel analysis and received targeted treatments when applicable. Results further support evidence indicating that molecular profiling provides clinical benefit.

The Mean Curvature Flow in Minkowski Spaces [PDF]
Studying the geometric flow plays a powerful role in mathematics and physics. In this paper, we introduce the mean curvature flow on Finsler manifolds and give a number of examples of the mean curvature flow. For Minkowski spaces, a special case of Finsler manifolds, we will prove the existence and uniqueness for solution of the mean curvature flow and

Targeted metabolomics reveals novel diagnostic biomarkers for colorectal cancer
This study employed targeted metabolomic profiling to identify 302 distinct metabolites present in platelet‐rich plasma (PRP), revealing aberrant metabolic profiles amongst individuals diagnosed with colorectal cancer (CRC). Compared to carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) and cancer antigen 19‐9 (CA199), our metabolite panel showed improved sensitivity ...

Eventual Regularization of Fractional Mean Curvature Flow [PDF]
We show that any open set that is a finite distance away from a Lipschitz subgraph will become a Lipschitz subgraph after flowing under fractional mean curvature flow for a finite, universal time. Our proof is quantitative and inherently nonlocal, as the corresponding statement is false for classical mean curvature flow.

The preservability of the curvature-adaptedness along the mean curvature flow [PDF]
In this paper, we investigate the preservability of the curvature-adaptedness along the mean curvature flow starting from a compact curvature-adapted hypersurface in locally symmetric spaces, where the curvature-adaptedness means that the shape operator and the normal Jacobi operator of the hypersurface commute.

CFD-based investigation of turbulent flow behavior in 90-deg pipe bends
This work investigated the influence of bend curvature on the parameters of turbulent flow through a 90° pipe bend using the numerical CFD method, implemented in ANSYS Fluent. The numerical predictions were validated to be in good agreement with existing
