Mean-free path effects in magnetoresistance of ferromagnetic nanocontacts [PDF]
We investigated the mean-free path effects on the magnetoresistance of ferromagnetic nanocontacts. For most combinations of parameters the magnetoresistance monotonously decreases with increasing the contact cross-section.

In MOCVD MoS2 memristors, a current compliance‐regulated Ag filament mechanism is revealed. The filament ruptures spontaneously during volatile switching, while subsequent growth proceeds vertically through the MoS2 layers and then laterally along the van der Waals gaps during nonvolatile switching.

Integration of Low‐Voltage Nanoscale MoS2 Memristors on CMOS Microchips
This article presents the first monolithic integration of nanoscale MoS2‐based memristors into the back‐end‐of‐line of foundry‐fabricated CMOS microchips in a one‐transistor‐one‐resistor (1T1R) architecture. The MoS2‐based 1T1R cells exhibit forming‐free, nonvolatile resistive switching with ultra‐low operating voltages, low cycle‐to‐cycle variability ...

Entropy, Lyapunov exponents and mean free path for billiards
We review known results and derive some new ones about the mean free path, Kolmogorov-Sinai entropy and Lyapunov exponents for billiard type dynamical systems. We focus on exact and asymptotic formulas for these quantities.

Liquid‐phase transmission electron microscopy enables direct observation of nucleation and growth processes in solution. This review is dedicated to the remembrance of Helmut Cölfen and highlights recent studies on complex materials—oxides, biominerals, organic–inorganic crystals—which were central to his research activity. It summarizes key milestones,

Moiré band engineering in graphene/hexagonal boron nitride–based superlattices unlocks van Hove singularities (VHSs) for terahertz (THz) optoelectronics. Tuning the Fermi level near these singularities, associated with secondary neutrality points (SNPs), enhances the photothermoelectric response.

Measuring the Mean Free Path of H i Ionizing Photons at 3.2 ≤ z ≤ 4.6 with DESI Y1 Quasars
The mean free path of ionizing photons in the intergalactic medium (IGM; ${\lambda }_{{\rm{mfp}}}^{912}$ ) is a crucial quantity in modeling the ionization state of the IGM and the extragalactic ultraviolet background, and it is widely used in ...

A soft, dual‐channel hydrogel patch enables simultaneous detection of wound temperature and strain by integrating ion‐diffusion‐mediated thermoelectric and resistive sensing. The conformal design maintains stable performance during motion, capturing subtle inflammatory and mechanical changes for continuous wound monitoring.
