The Bayesian ABEL Bound on the Mean Square Error
International audienceThis paper deals with lower bound on the Mean Square Error (MSE). In the Bayesian framework, we present a new bound which is derived from a constrained optimization problem.

Correcting the apparent priming effect resolves systematic biases in Asian rice fertilizer nitrogen accounting. Net soil retention drops below 7%, while 48% of fertilizer escapes, inflicting US$98.53 billion in annual reactive‐nitrogen damages. High‐resolution mapping uncovers N‐risk archetypes across 42% of the rice area, delivering a spatially ...

Kernel Mean P Power Error Loss for Robust Two-Dimensional Singular Value Decomposition
Traditional matrix-based dimensional reduction methods, e.g., two-dimensional principal component analysis (2DPCA) and two-dimensional singular value decomposition (2DSVD), minimize mean square errors (MSE), which is sensitive to outliers.

High Tree Species Diversity Promotes Thermal Enhancement Response of Microbial Carbon Use Efficiency
ABSTRACT Predicting soil carbon dynamics under warming is constrained by limited understanding of microbial thermal adaptation, particularly whether microbial carbon use efficiency (CUE) can adapt to warming and how plant diversity modulates this response. Using soils from a natural tree species diversity gradient in a subtropical forest, we combined a

A DLN dataset was built to analyze MABS composition versus in vitro/in vivo osteogenesis and angiogenesis. An MLP neural network, taking BG morphological parameters as input, extracts bioactive features from these datasets. A rabbit tibial defect model then validates 4D‐printed MABS for adaptability and bone regeneration in critical defects.

Mean-Square-Error Optimality of Orthogonal Space–Time Block Codes
Linear space-time block coding (STBC) is a conceptually simple transmission technique for channels with multiple transmit and receive antennas. We study a subclass of linear STBC, namely orthogonal STBC (OSTBC), with the primary goal of contributing ...

A compact QASRR‐based THz metamaterial absorber enables polarization‐insensitive dual‐band absorption and skin‐cancer‐related refractive‐index sensing through measurable resonance shifts. Field, surface‐current, and circuit analyses clarify the dual‐resonance mechanism, while StackNet‐assisted prediction accurately estimates the simulated absorption ...
