A New Approach to Mean Square Exponential Stability of Stochastic Functional Differential Equations

General stochastic functional differential equations are considered. A novel approach to the exponential stability in mean square of stochastic functional differential equations is presented. Consequently, some new criteria for the exponential stability in mean square of such equations are derived. A discussion of the obtained results is given.
