This paper introduces sufficient Lyapunov conditions guaranteeing exponential mean square stability of discrete-time systems with markovian delays. We provide a transformation of the discrete-time system with markovian delays into a discrete-time Markov ...

Molecular characterization of covRS mutations in M1UK Streptococcus pyogenes
Group A Streptococcus (GAS) acquires covRS mutations driving a hypervirulent bacterial state, frequently associated with invasive disease‐like necrotizing fasciitis. We demonstrate that the newly emerged M1UK GAS lineage can also acquire these mutations.

Exponential Stability and Numerical Methods of Stochastic Recurrent Neural Networks with Delays
Exponential stability in mean square of stochastic delay recurrent neural networks is investigated in detail. By using Itô’s formula and inequality techniques, the sufficient conditions to guarantee the exponential stability in mean square of an ...

For stochastic differential equations (SDEs) whose drift and diffusion coefficients can grow super-linearly, the equivalence of the asymptotic mean square stability between the underlying SDEs and the partially truncated Euler–Maruyama method is studied.

Remote Assessment of Ataxia Severity in SCA3 Across Multiple Centers and Time Points
ABSTRACT Objective Spinocerebellar ataxia type 3 (SCA3) is a genetically defined ataxia. The Scale for Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA) is a clinician‐reported outcome that measures ataxia severity at a single time point. In its standard application, SARA fails to capture short‐term fluctuations, limiting its sensitivity in trials.

A novel explicit scheme for stochastic diffusive SIS models with treatment effects
In this study, we propose a novel computational scheme for solving deterministic and stochastic partial differential equations (PDEs). The scheme is designed as an explicit two-stage method, where only the time-dependent terms are discretized, ensuring ...

Clustering Algorithm Reveals Dopamine‐Motor Mismatch in Cognitively Preserved Parkinson's Disease
ABSTRACT Objective To explore the relationship between dopaminergic denervation and motor impairment in two de novo Parkinson's disease (PD) cohorts. Methods n = 249 PD patients from Parkinson's Progression Markers Initiative (PPMI) and n = 84 from an external clinical cohort.

Mean-square Stability and Bifurcations for Dissipative SDEs
We investigate the dynamics of dissipative systems with stochastic forcing and focus in particular on mean-square stability. First we show, under a natural condition on the drift and diffusion, that the stochastic system is mean-square dissipative. Next we examine the linearised system and state conditions ensuring that perturbations of a linear system
