Gapless Superconductivity From Extremely Dilute Magnetic Disorder in 2H‐NbSe2‐xSx

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We demonstrate that 2H‐NbSe2‐xSx hosts gapless superconductivity at unexpectedly low magnetic impurity concentrations. Combining STM, Bogoliubovde Gennes simulations, DFT, and quasiparticle interference, we comprehensively study the development of gapless behavior and show that SeS substitution reshapes the band structure, enhances nesting, and drives ...

Cauchy type generalizations of holomorphic mean value theorems

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2012
We extend the results on the Mean Value Theorem obtained by Flett, Myers, Sahoo, Cakmak and Tiryaki to holomorphic functions.

Optimal Control Drives Ultrafast and Energy‐Efficient Magnetization Switching in Van der Waals Magnets

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The accelerating expansion of data‐centric technologies is sharply increasing the energy burden of information storage, placing unprecedented pressure on the efficiency of magnetic switching. Conventional field‐driven reversal, once the foundation of magnetic memory, has become impractical in modern architectures due to its high energy cost ...

Mean value theorems for some linear integral operators

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2009
In this article we study some mean value results involving linear integral operators on the space of continuous real-valued functions defined on the compact interval [0,1].

Existence of Solutions for the Discrete Dirichlet Problem Involving p-Mean Curvature Operator

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2020
This work is to discuss the Dirichlet boundary value problem of the difference equation with p -mean curvature operator. Under some determinate growth conditions on the nonlinear term, the existence of one solution or two nontrivial solutions is obtained

Ferromagnetism of Molecular Beam Epitaxy‐grown Ultra‐thin Cr2Ge2Te6 Films Down to the Monolayer Limit on Si Substrates

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Uniform monolayer Cr2Ge2Te6 films are achieved on Si substrates by molecular beam epitaxy. Intrinsic ferromagnetism with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy is established in the films by anomalous Hall effect and superconducting quantum interference device measurements, albeit with strong magnetic fluctuations characteristic of its 2D nature.

Rational Tuning of Hygroscopic Oscillation of Stacked Nanoflake Assemblies for Continuous Ambient Energy Harvesting

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Stacked nanoflake assembly (SNA) membranes can oscillate autonomously, offering opportunities for soft actuation and energy harvesting. This work uncovers the physical mechanism behind the sustained oscillation of SNA membranes in gradient humidity and identifies three governing dimensionless parameters, enabling rational design for optimizing SNA ...

Decaying positive global solutions of second order difference equations with mean curvature operator

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2020
A boundary value problem on an unbounded domain, associated to difference equations with the Euclidean mean curvature operator is considered. The existence of solutions which are positive on the whole domain and decaying at infinity is examined by ...

Testing and Simulation of Multilayer Polyvinylidene Fluoride‐Based Piezoelectric Energy Harvester Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
The study considers the use of polymer/dielectric‐based multilayers piezoelectric Energy Harvesters (EH) to produce an output voltage and current, by exploiting the mechanical energy provided by human organs movements. In particular, the heart motion is considered from the kinematic viewpoint, and a multiphysics theoretical model is developed to assess

The First Mean Value Theorem for Integrals [PDF]

open access: yesFormalized Mathematics, 2008
For simplicity, we use the following convention: X is a non empty set, S is a σ-field of subsets of X, M is a σ-measure on S, f , g are partial functions from X to R, and E is an element of S. One can prove the following three propositions: (1) If for every element x of X such that x ∈ dom f holds f(x) ≤ g(x), then g − f is non-negative.
