Propagation of Gulf Stream meanders between 74° and 70°W
Positions of the Gulf Stream path from 74° to 45°W were obtained from satellite infrared images for the period of April 1982-December 1989. The propagation of meanders between 74° and 70°W was studied through spectral analysis in wavenumber-frequency ...

This study presents the first demonstration of stable sub‐50‐micron single‐cell GPM vesicles fabricated through the intrinsic self‐assembly of an amphiphilic copolymer. Hierarchical assembly of cell containing GPM vesicles into microspheres enable tunable, sustained cell delivery with immune protection.

Ocean Meanders Modulate Extratropical Cyclone Energetics
Extratropical cyclones primarily develop over the western parts of ocean basins, where strong sea surface temperature (SST) contrasts form along western boundary currents.

Epitaxially Integrated Electro‐Optic KNbO3 Thin Films on Silicon
We demonstrate the first epitaxial integration of electro‐optic KNbO3 thin films on silicon using suboxide molecular‐beam epitaxy. Combining adsorption‐controlled molecular‐beam epitaxy, advanced characterization, and phase‐field modeling, we demonstrate phase‐pure crystalline films mirroring bulk crystals with robust Pockels response, enabling future ...

Radiative Thermal Management for Extreme Environments: Mechanisms and Design Strategies
In this review, we discuss the fundamental mechanisms of radiative cooling and solar heating, material and structural design strategies, hybrid approaches integrating additional heat transfer pathways, and durability‐oriented designs addressing environmental stresses.

Fast algorithms to generate open meandric systems and open meanders [PDF]
An open meander is a self-avoiding river that crosses an infinite straight road underneath a finite number of bridges. Applications of open meanders include stamp foldings and polymer physics.
