On a Nonlinear Integral Equation with Contractive Perturbation

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2011
We get an existence result for solutions to a nonlinear integral equation with contractive perturbation by means of Krasnoselskii's fixed point theorem and especially the theory of measure of weak noncompactness.

On solutions of a Volterra integral equation with deviating arguments

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2009
In this article, we establish the existence and asymptotic characterization of solutions to a nonlinear Volterra integral equation with deviating arguments. Our proof is based on measure of noncompactness and the Schauder fixed point theorem.

Controllability of nonlinear differential evolution systems in a separable Banach space

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2012
In this article, we study the controllability of semilinear evolution differential systems with nonlocal initial conditions in a separable Banach space. The results are obtained by using Hausdorff measure of noncompactness and a new calculation method.

Existence theory for nonlinear volterra integral and differential equations

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2001
In this paper we prove the existence theorems for the integrodifferential equation where in first part are functions with values in a Banach space and the integral is taken in the sense of Bochner. In second part are weakly–weakly sequentially
