Coordinate Measuring Machine Probes Effect during Inner Thread Position Measurement
Starting from the idea of improving Coordinate Measuring Machines’ (CMM) measurement strategy for inner thread locations, we developed a new method which increases the accuracy of measurements and takes us closer to the pitch diameter.

A New Method of Distribution of Measurement Points on Curvilinear Surfaces of Products
The article presents the method of selecting scanning lines along which coordinate measurements, performed by using, e.g., a coordinate measuring machine working in the single point probing mode, of free-form surfaces of measured workpieces may be ...

The roles related to performance measurement systems use: a study based on clusters statistics analysis [PDF]
: The performance measurement systems (PMS) have been studied over the last ten years, but this is still a very important research topic for companies and it keep being studied nowadays, because such systems help in decision-making, they allow monitoring

We introduce a novel approach to measure the founding strategic differentiation of startups and its relationship to follow-on performance. We use natural language processing and historical websites to estimate the similarity between the founding website of an individual startup, the historical website of public firms at the startup's founding year ...

Real-time flow measurement system: physics-informed reconstruction and sampling strategy
In this work, we focus on a multi-hole pressure-probe-based flow measurement system for wind tunnel measurements that provides real-time feedback to a robot probe-manipulator, rendering the system autonomous. The system relies on a novel, computationally

The Journal Impact Factor Might Be Useful But, for What, Precisely?
In this paper I evaluate the Journal Impact Factor using a theory of measurement. To measure a concept adequately, our theory of measurement requires an adequate measurement strategy: correspondence between three steps—the characterisation of the concept,

Quantum strategies of quantum measurements [PDF]
In classical Monty Hall problem, one player can always win with probability 2/3. We generalize the problem to the quantum domain and show that a fair two-party zero-sum game can be carried out if the other player is permitted to adopt quantum measurement strategy.

In multi‐target tracking, sensor with finite resolution generates merged measurements, which means that a group of targets might produce only one measurement, and such phenomenon could lead to degraded tracking performance if it is not considered.
