Circuit for measurement of instantaneous frequency

The measurement of power in polyphase circuits

The object of this paper is to point out that the existing methods of measuring power when applied to unbalanced three-phase systems are not equitable for symmetrical polyphase machinery. On the other hand, unsymmetrical loads on polyphase systems are not sufficiently penalized for the trouble which they create in the system.

Measuring Circuit for Radiometers

In using radiometers it is often necessary to measure output voltages as low as a few tenths of a microvolt. Measurement of voltages of this magnitude requires special precautions and measuring technique. The apparatus and method for measuring such voltages with an uncertainty of less than 14 percent or 0.001 microvolt are described.

In this chapter circuits being necessary on chip to be able to measure the performance of the investigated comparators are described. First a buffer with a very low input capacitance and a 50 \(\Omega \) output resistance is introduced, which bridges the gap between on-chip comparator and measurement equipment.
