Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

Closed loop control of the sawtooth instability in nuclear fusion
In nuclear fusion the sawtooth instability is an important plasma phenomenon, having both positive and negative effects on the tokamak plasma. Control of its period is essential in future nuclear fusion reactors.

CONTROL SYNTHESIS FOR TWO LOOPS DISCRET SYSTEM
The aim of this paper is the linear synthesis of two loops SISO systems with discreet time proportional integral (PI) controllers. This linear synthesis is dedicated for the systems with plant parameters uncertainty.

A Nodal-independent and tissue-intrinsic mechanism controls heart-looping chirality [PDF]
Breaking left-right symmetry in bilateria is a major event during embryo development that is required for asymmetric organ position, directional organ looping and lateralized organ function in the adult. Asymmetric expression of Nodal-related genes is hypothesized to be the driving force behind regulation of organ laterality.

We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

Structural insights and therapeutic targets in Acinetobacter baumannii capsule biosynthesis
Hypervirulent KL49 A. baumannii's capsular polysaccharide contains the nonulosonic acid 8‐epi‐Leg5,7Ac2, synthesized by epimerization via ElaA, ElaB, and ElaC. Crystal structures of ElaA, ElaB, and ElaC reveal their role in CMP‐Leg5,7Ac2 synthesis and regioselective C8 epimerization.

Loop Leaping with Closures [PDF]
Loop leaping is the colloquial name given to a form of program analysis in which summaries are derived for nested loops starting from the innermost loop and proceeding in a bottom-up fashion considering one more loop at a time.

Direct Closed-Loop Control Structure for the Three-Axis Satcom-on-the-Move Antenna
The traditional Satcom-on-the-Move (SOTM) mechanical structure consists of a dual-axis configuration with an azimuth axis and a pitch axis. In this structure, when the pitch angle is 90 degrees, the rotation of the azimuth axis cannot change the antenna ...
