Numerical and Preliminary In Situ Investigation on Roadway Excavation Using Static Expansion Mechanical Fracturing

open access: yesAdvances in Civil Engineering
This paper introduced a new nonexplosive roadway excavation method, combining the reserved free space technology and the static expansion mechanical fracturing technology, where the former is implemented by the gasbag, while the piston splitter is for ...

Mechanized excavation of fruit and forest seedlings [PDF]

open access: yesSavremena poljoprivredna tehnika, 2019
The paper presents the possibilities of mechanized harvesting of fruit and forest seedlings. For this purpose, special purpose plows with a special working body are most used for undercutting the soil layer and the root system of seedlings with the lifting and shaking of a part of the soil. Older plow solutions for fruit and forest seedlings still used

Small Nucleolar RNA Snord17 Promotes Self‐Renewal of Intestinal Stem Cells through Yy2 mRNA Export and Tead4 Activation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Snord17, through interaction with Thoc3, promotes nuclear export and translation of Yy2 mRNA in Snord17+/+ ISCs. The Yy2 protein subsequently binds the Tead4 promoter to promote its transcription, activating Hippo signaling, which is essential for ISC maintenance.

A dsRNA Viral Transcriptional Regulator Evades Innate Immunity by Hijacking Host CoTranscription Factor DHX9

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies a new viral mechanism by a viral protein σ3 that functions as a vTR to suppress NF‐κB gene expression via its direct interaction with the host helicase DHX9. Through their interaction, σ3 not only impairs the initial recruitment of Pol II but also affects Pol II pause‐release and ultimately suppresses NF‐κB gene expression ...

Study on Longitudinal Deformation Analysis and Support Technology of Surrounding Rock in Roadway Excavation

open access: yesMeikuang Anquan, 2020
To study the influence of excavation space effect on roadway excavation, Hoek’s displacement coefficient equation is used to describe the longitudinal deformation law of roadway surrounding rock under the spatial effect, and the relationship between the

Behavior‐ and Cell Type‐Specific Cortico‐Striatal Decoupling in a Parkinson's Disease‐Like Mouse Model

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Utilizing dual‐site fiber photometry, this study examines cortico‐striatal coupling with cell type resolution, identifying behavior‐ and cell type‐specific cortico striatal decoupling and its dopamine‐dependent mechanism in a Parkinson's disease mouse model.

Investigation on the Mechanical Characteristics of the Excavation of a Double-Line Highway Tunnel Underpass Existing Railway Tunnel under the Influence of Dynamic and Static Load

open access: yesApplied Sciences
Research on the excavation mechanical properties of underpass tunnels has already had certain results, but only a few of them consider the effects of dynamic and static loads on the excavation mechanical properties of underground tunnels at the same time;

A simple and cost-effective method for cable root detection and extension measurement in estuary wetland forests [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
This work presents the development of a low-cost method to measure the length cable roots of black mangrove (Avicennia germinans) trees to define the boundaries of central part of the anchoring root system (CPRS) without the need to fully expose root ...

Loss of SOCS1 in Donor T Cells Exacerbates Intestinal GVHD by Driving a Chemokine‐Dependent Pro‐Inflammatory Immune Microenvironment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
T cell‐specific Socs1 knockout leads to inflammatory differentiation of CD8+ T cells, prompting the STAT1/2 complex to drive the activation of Ccl5, Ccr5, and Cxcr3, and promoting the skewing of monocytes toward a pro‐inflammatory M1 macrophage lineage.
