Gingival Retraction Methods for Fabrication of Fixed Partial Denture: Literature Review

open access: yesJournal of Dental Biomaterial, 2016
Fixed dental prosthesis success requires appropriate impression taking of the prepared finish line. This is critical in either tooth supported fixed prosthesis (crown and bridge) or implant supported fixed prosthesis (solid abutment).

[Late infective mechanical aortic valve prosthesis endocarditis].

open access: yesKardiologia polska, 2009
We present a case of late infective endocarditis on the mechanical aortic valve prosthesis, complicated by large paraortic abscesus. It was dificult to diagnosed this patient, because of negative blood cultures results and not diagnostic view in transthoracic echocardiogram. Transesophageal echo was performed just before cardiac surgery because of very

Structure‐Dependent Resonant Frequency Engineering of Textile Tactile Sensors Toward Rapid and Precise Braille Recognition Surpassing Human Sensation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A resonant frequency engineering strategy is proposed to modulate the sensibility of piezoresistive textile‐based tactile sensor. It achieves simultaneous detection of static pressure and dynamic vibrations across an unprecedented bandwidth of 5–600 Hz, surpassing human sensation, therefore enables rapid and precise braille recognition.

Neuromorphic Motor Control with Electrolyte‐Gated Organic Synaptic Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Electrolyte‐gated organic synaptic transistor (EGOST)‐based neuromorphic motor control systems integrate sensing, processing, and actuation by mimicking biological synapses. With advantages such as low power consumption, tunable synaptic plasticity, and mechanical flexibility, they are emerging as next‐generation core technologies for real‐time ...
