Co‐delivery of electrosprayed EDOT and oxidant enables bulk oxidative polymerization during layer‐by‐layer fabrication, creating stable, highly conductive 3D PEDOT structures. This Atomized Oxidative Polymerization (AOP) overcomes the surface deposition‐only and matrix‐limited conductivity of conventional Vapor Phase Polymerization (VPP) and PEDOT:PSS ...

Vibration of railway bridges in the audible frequency range [PDF]
The noise level associated with a train travelling on a bridge is normally greater than that for a train travelling on plain track. It is sometimes the bridge noise that causes the highest levels of disturbance to people in the vicinity or triggers ...

Top‐down organic pillaring expands the interlayer spacing of bulk‐sized MoS2 particles while preserving the bulk morphology. Operando X‐ray diffraction and electrochemical dilatometry show that MoS2‐bulk undergoes solvent co‐intercalation in diglyme electrolyte, causing large structural expansion, while pillared, expanded MoS2 suppresses solvent uptake

Journal bearing lubrication monitoring based on spectrum cluster analysis of vibration signals [PDF]
Journal bearings are critical components for many important machines. Lubrication analysis techniques are often not timely and cost effective for monitoring journal bearings.

Redox dual‐defects (Cs substitution and O vacancies) in 2D hydrated WO3 steer O2 activation toward selective singlet oxygen evolution. WO‐CO achieves 8.6–15.8 times higher 1O2 production than single‐defect or pristine catalysts, enabling efficient pollutant mineralization via a pathway‐selective photocatalytic mechanism.

Bandgap‐engineered AlGaAs/GaAs heterostructures exhibit wavelength‐selective dual‐polarity photoelectrochemistry, switching from photocathodic to photoanodic response depending on excitation wavelength. The polarity transition is governed by band‐selective absorption, built‐in electric‐field‐driven carrier transport, and interfacial charge‐transfer ...

An Investigation of Surface Vibration, Airbourne Sound and Acoustic Emission Characteristics of a Journal Bearing for Early Fault Detection and Diagnosis [PDF]
High power machinery such as steam turbines, large pumps and motors often use journal bearings as rotor supports. This type of bearing is simple, low cost and with high load carrying capacity.
