Successive Iteration of Positive Solutions for Fourth-Order Two-Point Boundary Value Problems
We are concerned with a fourth-order two-point boundary value problem. We prove the existence of positive solutions and establish iterative schemes for approximating the solutions.

Each optical system introduces aberrations in the reading of photoluminescence, which makes the signal dependant on the lab equipment. Here, a calibrated system is used to obtain the PLQYs and ratiometric parameters of popular upconverters to be used in thermometry.

Coherent Absorption Reveals Colors Hidden in a Grey Fabry–Pérot Cavity
A dielectric thin film shows colors depending on its thickness; this effect can be used to encode information normally accessible through single‐beam spectroscopy. We developed a method to conceal this kind of information, based on coating the dielectric with a matched conductor, that suppresses the color‐bearing thin‐film resonances.

Skillful management of media communications can support strong relationships with the communities we serve as well as provide vital sources for distribution of information. Failing to understand the value of media communications can result in misconceptions and misunderstandings that can be impactful on day-to-day operations and career progress and can

Disordered plasmonic metasurfaces enable advanced control over light scattering through disorder engineering. A theoretical model based on multiple scattering theory is developed to predict the coherent reflection and transmission of light from disordered metasurfaces with arbitrary pair correlations.
