A crystalline layer is formed by an amphiphilic decylamine surfactant at the air/water interface. Aldehyde‐containing ester oil droplets self‐propel by consuming amines from the crystalline layer, thereby generating open channels along which myelin‐forming amphiphile droplets chase and ultimately catch the aldehyde droplets in a predator–prey analogy ...

The schematic diagram delineates the chondroprotective effects of Ca‐bMSN in OA models. The upper portion of the diagram depicts the synthesis process of Ca‐bMSN. The lower section illustrates the post‐injection of Ca‐bMSN in joint cavity, catalpol released and subsequently mediates the reduction of oxidative stress, ECM catabolism, apoptosis, and ...

Characteristics of Radial Tears in the Posterior Horn of the Medial Meniscus Compared to Horizontal Tears [PDF]
BACKGROUND: The clinical and radiologic features of radial tears of the medial meniscus posterior horn were compared with those of horizontal tears. METHODS: From January 2007 to December 2008, 387 consecutive cases of medial meniscal tears were treated

This study develops a cartilage‐targeted DNA origami system (OCS) that protects and delivers si‐Stat3 to chondrocytes. OCS reduces MMP13 expression, enhances extracellular matrix stability, and lowers oxidative stress while improving cell survival. In vivo, OCS decreases cartilage degradation biomarkers and promotes tissue repair factors, demonstrating

Comparison of Medial and Lateral Meniscus Root Tears
The meniscus root plays an essential role in maintaining the circumferential hoop tension and preventing meniscal displacement. Studies on meniscus root tears have investigated the relationship of osteoarthritis and an anterior cruciate ligament tear. However, few studies have directly compared the medial and lateral root tears.

The MOF material UIO‐66‐NH2 is functionalized with DBCO groups on its surface, encapsulating NO‐prednisolone and conjugating it with azide‐modified IL‐10. Finally, the complex is extruded with MM to form biomimetic functional nanoparticles. Upon intra‐articular injection, MI@UN, enveloped by the MM, specifically targets synovial macrophages, is ...
