Fetish markets and feathers: Analyzing a growing threat to biodiversity in Africa
This study investigates the composition and drivers of bird species traded in the Lomé fetish market, one of West Africa's largest belief‐based use wildlife markets. Field surveys conducted between 2022 and 2024 reveal a marked increase in market volume and avian species diversity over time, including many CITES‐listed birds.

Mitochondrial respiration and characteristics of skeletal muscles in children with cerebral palsy
Skeletal muscles utilize numerous mitochondria for energy production needed during muscle contraction. Mitochondria produce this energy through the electron transport chain. After an injury such as ACL‐injury in typically developing children, there is a reduction in muscle mitochondrial respiration and content.

Dysglycemia during neonatal encephalopathy and early school‐age neurodevelopmental outcomes
In the era of therapeutic hypothermia, hyperglycemia and increased glucose variability during the first few days of life are associated with worse neurodevelopmental outcomes at early school‐age in survivors of neonatal encephalopathy. These associations are fully explained by neonatal brain injury and/or paternal education.

Scrotal Reconstruction Following Fournier\u27s Gangrene Using the Medial Thigh Fasciocutaneous Flap.
Scrotal reconstruction with adequate protection of the testicles remains the challenge following Fournier\u27s gangrene. Early single-staged sensate flap coverage is ideal. This is readily accomplished using the medial thigh fasciocutaneous flap based on

ABSTRACT Background Glucagon‐like peptide‐1 receptor agonists (GLP‐1RAs), dual glucose‐dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP)/GLP‐1RA and triple (GIP)/GLP‐1RA/glucagon agonists achieve placebo‐subtracted weight loss of 15% to 22%. Their long‐term value depends on how well the weight loss is maintained and on the composition of weight loss, not only

Denosumab discontinuation and fracture risk: getting the balance right
Abstract Denosumab is a highly effective therapy for osteoporosis. Since its approval by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) in 2010, use of denosumab has surged across Australia, delivering substantial fracture‐prevention benefits to tens of thousands of patients. However, stopping denosumab may lead to acute loss of bone with an increased risk
