Proteogenomic Characterization Reveals Subtype‐Specific Therapeutic Potential for HER2‐Low Breast Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Multiomic profiling of HER2‐low breast cancer identifies three proteomic subtypes with distinct therapeutic strategies: endocrine, antiangiogenic, and anti‐HER2 therapies. Genomic and lactate modification landscapes are detailed, providing insights for precise management.

Goodness-Of-Fit Test For Standard Logistics Distribution With Outliers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Alternative to the least square coefficient of determination ( R2 OLS ), the coefficient of determination based on median absolute deviation,R 2 MAD , is an attractive consideration in the construction of goodness-of-fit test based on regression ...

FLAGCAL:A flagging and calibration package for radio interferometric data

open access: yes, 2011
We describe a flagging and calibration pipeline intended for making quick look images from GMRT data. The package identifies and flags corrupted visibilities, computes calibration solutions and interpolates these onto the target source.

A robust cusum control chart for median absolute deviation based on trimming and winsorization

open access: yesPLoS ONE
Statistical quality control is concerned with the analysis of production and manufacturing processes. Control charts are process control techniques, commonly applied to observe and control deviations.

Transparent Transfer‐Free Ultrasmall Multilayer Graphene Microelectrodes Enable High Quality Recordings in Brain Slices

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A transfer‐free fabrication method enables multilayer graphene microelectrodes as small as 10 µm, eliminating reliability issues of manual graphene transfer. These electrodes record neural activity in brain slices with exceptional signal‐to‐noise ratios (up to 25–40 dB) while maintaining optical transparency for multimodal applications.

Brain Age from the Electroencephalogram of Sleep [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
The human electroencephalogram (EEG) of sleep undergoes profound changes with age. These changes can be conceptualized as "brain age", which can be compared to an age norm to reflect the deviation from normal aging process.

Microscale Mapping of Fiber Strain and Damage in Composite Wrinkled Laminates Using Computed Tomography Assisted Wide‐Angle X‐Ray Scattering

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study combines full‐field tomography with diffraction mapping to quantify radial (ε002$\varepsilon _{002}$) and axial (ε100$\varepsilon _{100}$) lattice strain in wrinkled carbon‐fiber specimens for the first time. Radial microstrain gradients (−14.5 µεMPa$\varepsilon \mathrm{MPa}$−1) are found to signal damage‐prone zones ahead of failure, which ...

High resolution satellite imagery orientation accuracy assessment by leave-one-out method: accuracy index selection and accuracy uncertainty [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
The Leave-one-out cross-validation (LOOCV) was recently applied to the evaluation of High Resolution Satellite Imagery orientation accuracy and it has proven to be an effective method alternative with respect to the most common Hold-out-validation (HOV),
