Modulation of Neurally Mediated Vasodepression and Bradycardia by Electroacupuncture through Opioids in Nucleus Tractus Solitarius. [PDF]
Stimulation of vagal afferent endings with intravenous phenylbiguanide (PBG) causes both bradycardia and vasodepression, simulating neurally mediated syncope.

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

The superficial brachial artery : a case report [PDF]
A superficial brachial artery is an anomalous branch of the brachial artery that runs superficial to the median nerve; it is usually associated with a deep brachial branch that runs deep to this nerve. A case is described of a superficial brachial artery.

PESS do nervo mediano após lesão bulbar alta: componente N18 preservado e P14 ausente. Relato de caso [PDF]
Median nerve SEPs recorded from a patient with a high medullary lesion are described. The lesion involved the anteromedial and anterolateral right upper third of the medulla, as documented by MRI.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Nerve Detection in Ultrasound Images Using Median Gabor Binary Pattern [PDF]
International audienceUltrasound in regional anesthesia (RA) has increased in pop-ularity over the last years. The nerve localization presents a key step for RA practice, it is therefore valuable to develop a tool able to facilitate this practice.

Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

Surgical Outcomes in Non-Transected and Partially Transected Peripheral Nerve Injuries
Background: Non-transected and partially transected peripheral nerve injuries (neuromas-in-continuity) are relatively common but understudied. Their optimal surgical management and expected outcomes remain unclear.
