Computer generated images for medical applications

ACM SIGGRAPH Computer Graphics, 1978
Two computer graphics systems for the presentation of biomedical information for diagnosis and treatment planning are described. Both systems presented utilize computer tomographic (CT) data as input. One of the systems produces three-dimensional surface representations of organs and anatomical features found within the body.

Generating Context-Awarness Interface for Medical Applications

2011 Developments in E-systems Engineering, 2011
The openEHR norm is advising the quality of care delivered by a health information system (HIS). In fact, it offers an archetype-based approach allowing storing and communicating of patient information in a safe and reliable way. However, HIS has to face the problem of multiplication resource and diversity of use.

Microwave generator for scientific and medical applications

AIP Conference Proceedings, 2012
Nowadays power microwave radiation is widely used in medical applications as hyperthermia, diathermy or ablation and for scientific applications such as plasma generation, digestion, or as a catalyst in green chemistry. Nevertheless, designing a suitably adapted microwave generator that meets both the scientific and the more restrictive medical ...

Multimodal Deep Generative Models for Remote Medical Applications

Proceedings of the AAAI Conference on Artificial Intelligence, 2023
Visible-to-Thermal (VT) face translation is an under-studied problem of image-to-image translation that offers an AI-enabled alternative to traditional thermal sensors. Over three phases, my Doctoral Proposal explores developing multimodal deep generative solutions that can be applied towards telemedicine applications. These include the contribution of

A Medical Application of the General Random Coefficient Regression Model

Biometrical Journal, 1990
AbstractRCR models are reviewed. Various variance estimators are described, among them a new one. These variance estimators are compared in a simulation study. An obstetric data set is subjected to a detailed analysis by means of RCR techniques. In particular, interval estimation is considered.

Generalization of Fuzzy SHA-Transform with Medical Application

Mathematical Modelling of Engineering Problems, 2022
Fuzzy differential and integral equations and their associated fuzzy boundary (initial) value problems have been solved using a variety of methods., fuzzy integral transforms are significant method for this purpose. In this research, we extend and use the formula of third- order fuzzy derivative of fuzzy SHA-transform (FSHAT) to generalize the nth ...

A Novel Multilingual Report Generation System for Medical Applications

2009
There has been an increasing demand for high quality medical data that are in a standard electronic format and easily shared. Although a great amount of effort has been invested to ease the process, an effective solution has yet to be found. In this study, we first discuss necessary features of an effective data collection and reporting system, and ...
