Comparative histological analysis of vertebrates reveals Triassic climate variability across southern Pangea

Bone tissues of Triassic taxa reveal life history signals consistent with climatic variation across southern Pangea, spanning present‐day Brazil, Argentina, Zimbabwe, and India. Summary Evidence for the ongoing biodiversity crisis rests on assessment of a small fraction of described species, with major knowledge gaps for most organisms, including plants.
