Facile Synthesis of High Areal Density and Stable Pt Single‐Atom Electrocatalysts by Arc Discharge Atomization and CoNi Trapping

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This article demonstrates a vacuum direct current arc discharge strategy for synthesizing Pt single‐atom catalysts (SACs) with an ultra‐high Pt areal density. The resulting catalyst shows remarkable thermal stability at 1000 °C and excellent performance in water splitting.

Electroluminescent Liquid Metal Marbles for Reconfigurable Multi‐Color Display

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Phosphor‐coated liquid metal marbles offer a reconfigurable electroluminescent multicolor display platform, where the plasma discharge across marble arrays generates colored light. By tuning the mixing ratio of different types of primary‐color‐emitting phosphor particles, full‐spectrum additive color mixing is achieved.

Cu3SbSe3‐Alloying‐Induced High Thermoelectric Performance and Mechanical Robustness in Bi2Te3‐Based Thermoelectric Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Combining microstructural engineering with Cu3SbSe3 alloying significantly improves the performance of Bi2Te3‑based thermoelectric materials, yielding a high zT of ≈1.45 (average zT ≈1.3 over 303–503 K), excellent mechanical robustness (Vickers hardness of 96 Hv and compressive strength of 187 MPa), and an impressive conversion efficiency of ≈6.9% at a

A Super‐Capacitive Pressure Sensor with Ultrahigh Sensitivity and Wide Linear Pressure Sensing Range for Human Bio‐Signal Detection and Electronic Skin

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Incorporating a PVA/H3PO4 ionic elastomer and a hierarchical hemisphere structure within the electrolyte layer, along with a curvy top electrode, enables the super‐capacitive pressure sensor to achieve ultrahigh sensitivity (34.79 nF kPa−1) and a broad linear sensing range (0–800 kPa).
