PlusTag-Magic medical record system

PlusTag is a rugged, wearable smart card in the form of a 'dogtag' that can be programmed to carry a patient's medical record, including the most recent X-ray and ECG. The device. together with MAGIC (Medical Applications Graphic Image Compression) software, is intended to aid persons who, because of their disabilities.

Abstract A new medical-record system which uses microfilm storage of patients' records is being introduced into a group practice. This system allows the individual general practitioner to use notes in the way he wishes, reduces filing time by approximately 35%, and reduces storage space by 80%.
