Further characterisation of late somatosensory evoked potentials using electroencephalogram and magnetoencephalogram source imaging

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Neuroscience, Volume 60, Issue 1, Page 3772-3794, July 2024.
Early and late components exhibit distinct features and are not correlated. Late responses are not characteristic of SII area only but include more complex cortico‐cortical neural networks. Besides some overlapped activity in early and late responses, distinct networks participate in somatosensory brain processing.

White matter microstructure as a potential contributor to differences in resting state alpha activity between neurotypical and autistic children: a longitudinal multimodal imaging study

open access: yesMolecular Autism
We and others have demonstrated the resting-state (RS) peak alpha frequency (PAF) as a potential clinical marker for young children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), with previous studies observing a higher PAF in school-age children with ASD versus ...

Carrier‐frequency specific omission‐related neural activity in ordered sound sequences is independent of omission‐predictability

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Neuroscience, Volume 60, Issue 1, Page 3812-3820, July 2024.
Participants were presented with ordered or random tone sequences with omissions occurring either ordered or randomly, to investigate frequency‐specific activity. With the use of MEG data and decoding analysis, we show that the frequency‐specific neural pattern during omissions within ordered tone sequences occurs independent of the regularity of the ...

Abnormal connectivity and activation during audiovisual speech perception in schizophrenia

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Neuroscience, Volume 59, Issue 8, Page 1918-1932, April 2024.
We recorded MEG during audiovisual (speech and face) perception in schizophrenia and identified abnormalities in N1m suppression in speech‐related cortical areas and hypo‐connectivity between speech‐ and face‐related cortical areas in schizophrenia.

Turning the world upside down: Developing a tool for training about SM

open access: yes, 2007
About the book: Psychological and medical perspectives on sadomasochism (SM) have historically been concerned with understanding it as a form of psychopathology. In the past (but still often today) studies of SM have been concerned with extreme and most

Lotus Blossom [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
In making Lotus Blossom, I hoped to bring light to the fact that Asians do face racism and how Asian women, in particular, have been fetishized.

SJÅ MEG, TRU MEG, HJELP MEG!

open access: yes, 2016
Tittel: SJÅ MEG, TRU MEG, HJELP MEG!

Data‐driven MEG analysis to extract fMRI resting‐state networks

open access: yesHuman Brain Mapping, Volume 45, Issue 4, March 2024.
We compare the two main existing data‐driven analysis strategies for extracting resting‐state network (RSN) from magnetoencephalography (MEG) data and introduce a third approach. While it is possible to extract RSN with MEG using all three techniques, the new approach yielded significantly higher correspondence for most RSN.

Se meg, lytt til meg, anerkjenn meg

open access: yes, 2021
