The systematics of some Australian Megachilidae (Hymenoptera: Apoidea)

Bees in the family Megachilidae have been collected and described from Australia since the earliest scientific expeditions. However, the only major revision of Australian megachilid bees was concerned with taxa at the level of subgenus and above. This study represents the first comprehensive revision of a megachilid group at species level.

A Revision of the American Species of Diceratosmia (Hymenoptera, Megachilidae)

The genus Diceratosmia is closely related to the large and well known genus Osmia . It has been separated, however, by recent authors (Sandhouse, 1939; Michener, 1941, 1944) largely on the basis of the longitudinal carina along the inner ventral angle of each posterior coxa. There are also certain other generic characters, as detailed by Michener (1941)
