26 Megaloptera Tarsomeres with a dense ventral brush of hairs are present in members of Chauliodidae (Maki 1936: Fig. 32), Corydalidae and Sialidae. Tarsomere 4 is expanded and bilobed in Sialis species (Theischinger 1991; Figs 3d, 5E,I).
