Journal of Biochemical and Molecular Toxicology, Volume 40, Issue 7, July 2026.In HepG2 cells, Aroclor 1254 induced oxidative stress, DNA damage, apoptosis, and mutagenicity; co‐treatment with curcumin restored antioxidant defenses (GSH/thiols; SOD, CAT, GPx, GR, TrxR), reduced ROS and comet/8‐OHdG readouts, and attenuated caspase activation, demonstrating curcumin's hepatoprotective and genoprotective modulation of PCB toxicity.
