Nematicidal Potential of Thymol against Meloidogyne javanica (Treub) Chitwood. [PDF]
Root-knot nematodes (RKN; Meloidogyne spp.) are obligatory endoparasites with worldwide distribution which cause severe damage to agricultural crops. The present study aimed to define the nematicidal activity of thymol on different life stages of the root-knot nematode Meloidogyne javanica (Treub) Chitwood, at concentrations of 37.5–1000 μL/L.

Reproduction of Meloidogyne javanica in soybean genotypes
Meloidogyne javanica is among the most important nematodes that damage soybean, and although genetic resistance is the ideal control measure, there are few cultivars described as resistant among those recommended for southern Brazil. The objective of this work was to evaluate the reaction of soybean cultivars to M. javanica.
